To celebrate the grand opening of Le Petit Marcel in Chicago’s Lakeview East neighborhood, Mariya Byelikova conceptualized a branding shoot to showcase the restaurant’s swanky yet cozy charm. The resulting photographs became part of the restaurant’s launch, appearing across social media and promotional announcements.

With Mariya’s direction, my husband and I played role of a couple enjoying an evening at the new location, capturing a sense of lived-in romance. I styled our wardrobes with the restaurant’s atmosphere and Mariya’s concept in mind, building from a striking black-and-white palette to evoke casual yet bold glamour with a sense of ease.
